Radiation meters are devices which allow to control and measure the dose equivalent rate H*(10). They are used for environment measurement, radiological monitoring and hotspot search. Perfectly adapted to γ and X radiation, the Carmelec radiation meter allow to cover a wide range of dose rate (between 0,5 µSv/h et 100 mSv/h) and use cases.

Contamination meters

Contamination meters are devices which allow to detect and measure radioactive contamination (surface or point). They are use in addition to gate, to detect as soon as possible the staff contamination and their tools in contaminated area exit. It allows to limit potential skin dose.

They allows to insure the contamination non-releasing and insure the radiological cleanliness. More than standard β contamination meter (Dolphy Beta and Dolphy Frottis), Carmelec offers also a contamination meter which allow to make measurement in high and flucuating γ environment (ECHO), allowing especially measurement in the reactor-containing building in nuclear power plant.

Gamma radiography Monitering/prevention

Gamma radiography is a non destructive testing method used for check the weld quality or to show potential weakness on mecanic pieces. This technic needs the use of a high activity γ source.
